One Response to How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7

  1. Andrew says:

Hi, the UAC does off protection against Zero Day malware attacks as users are running with a filter access token. this means that malware is unable able to utilise administrative privileges and thus the user is more protected. However UAC is less ideal in a corporate enviroment as there is no ability to control applications a user can or cannot elevate.

I recommend people review Privilege Guard from Avecto which provides a centralised policy driven approach that assigns admin rights to applications and not users.
